CPR Program

Safety Services offers American Heart Association CPR with AED (Automated External Defibrillator) classes.  This class fulfills the employment requirements (NRS 391.092) for mandated school district personnel.

In addition to training for staff, Safety Services also supports classroom curriculum with AHA materials designed for the instruction of administration of hands-only or compression-only cardiopulmonary resuscitation and the use of an automated external defibrillator as required in NRS 389.021. Teachers may contact Safety Services to check out materials, including dummies, DVD’s & training AED’s from the Safety Services Department. Certified instructors are also available upon request to assist in the classroom.
