When choosing which senior should be considered for Senior Spotlight, it is easy to see why Trina is a great candidate to be acknowledged. Trina has not only challenged herself throughout her high school career with Honors and/or AP classes in all core subjects, but she has also done exceedingly well in these rigorous classes. She has earned a 4.63 GPA on a 4.0 grading scale, an exceptional feat to be recognized!
Although Trina has wonderful academic achievements, she also balances extracurricular activities with school and work. She has put a lot of time and effort into FCCLA, Skills USA and practicum hours for Early Childhood Education. In addition to these activities, Trina stays busy with other hobbies she enjoys such as sewing/fashion design, crocheting and writing. This love of writing will help propel her toward her dreams of earning a degree in Journalism, where she plans to study Public Relations and Advertising at the University of Nevada, Reno.
Trina is a great self-advocate and will undoubtedly be successful in anything she sets her mind to in the future. Congratulations, Trina!
