Carson High School’s AP Spanish class was treated to a lecture Friday featuring Spanish poetry by Retired Senior Deputy Attorney General Glade Myler.
The lecture was hosted in Mrs. Marisa Morrow’s classroom. Morrow is November’s Rotary Teacher of the Month.
Myler is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese. He is also somewhat fluent in German, Italian and French. He was accompanied by his wife, Carolyn Myer, photographer for the three poetry books he has published:
— “Through the Eye of the Needle”
— “Perspectives”
— “Rays of Hope”
Earlier this month Myler, who lives in Carson City, lectured on similar subjects at Utah State University.
